EDCIS 2002 is the first international conference on engineering and deployment of cooperative information systems, sponsored by the IEEE, the China Computer Federation, and the European Association of Software Science and Technology.
EDCIS 2002 brings together researchers and professionals from academia and industry to discuss timely topics in the field of cooperative information systems. The technical program consists of 45 research papers from 14 countries that were carefully selected from 159 initial paper submissions (28% acceptance ratio). The accepted papers cover various topics such as workflow management, coordination technology, advanced transactions, groupware, semantic web, ontologies, enterprise modeling, and enterprise application integration.
The proceedings of EDCIS 2002 are being published by Springer-Verlag as LNCS volume 2480.
